PROSPECTS FOR THE APPLICATION OF GREEN STANDARDS AND TECHNOLOGIES IN HOUSING CONSTRUCTION

Abstract

The article analyzes the challenges and prospects for the development of green
technology and green building in Uzbekistan and globally. It provides examples of green
technologies that have been implemented in practice. The article reveals the dynamics of
green building development from 2000 to 2018. It notes the advantages of implementing
green technologies in building construction for all stakeholders involved in the process. The
importance of government and legislative initiatives to promote green building is highlighted.
Factors limiting the growth of sustainable and environmentally friendly construction in the
country are identified.
