Abstract
E-commerce has become an integral part of the global economy, driving significant
changes in consumer behavior, business operations, and government policies. As online
sales continue to surge, countries worldwide are grappling with how to effectively tax
digital transactions. This thesis explores the current trends in e-commerce taxation,
focusing on regulatory challenges, policy adaptations, and the implications for businesses
