J.K. ROWLING'S NOVELS AND "SOCIO-CULTURAL" TRADITIONS
Keywords:
novel, culture, tradition, positive, negative, hero, characterAbstract
In the context of world children's literature, Joan Rowling is embodied not only
as a representative of this literature, but also as a promoter of "social culture". It can be
noted that the negative aspects of "social culture" prevail over its positive features. In the
"Harry Potter" series of novels, the possibilities of the writer in showing of this culture to
the reader are mainly characterized by the strength of positivism.
