DIAGNOSTIC VALUE OF MORPHOLOGICAL STUDIES OF THE MENISKI TISSUE IN TRAUMATIC INJURIES

Abstract

The aim was to determine the diagnostic value of morphological studies of meniscus
tissues in their traumatic injuries in people who are constantly involved in sports.
Morphological study of meniscus tissue fragments was carried out in 54 patients (102
samples) obtained during surgery with an arthroscope. The study and photography of
light-optical preparations was carried out using an AXIOSKOP-40 microscope (Carl
Zeiss, Germany), with a digital camera ProgRess, CaputerPro 2.6, coupled with a
computer based on a Pentium IV processor.
