Abstract

This article outlined the linguo-pragmatic and linguoculturological features of
the category of address in English and Uzbek languages. The address is a linguocultural
approach, which reflects an objective connection between a person, language and culture as
a system of values and allows the development of an individual through the adoption of
common cultural values, understanding of linguistic norms, customs, and creative abilities.
