THE NEW APPROACH OF TEACHING LISTENING IN ENGLISH LESSONS
Abstract
The teaching of listening in the methodology of teaching foreign languages is
given great importance, since the perception of foreign language speech by ear is a complex
process that requires maximum attention from the student, and from the teacher - consistent
preparation for the development of this type of speech activity. Therefore, a methodically
correct organization of the process of teaching listening is necessary, which means that the
methodology of teaching foreign languages faces the task of properly organizing and planning
this process so that the level of formation of students' auditory skills meets the needs of
modern society.
