SELECTION OF AUTHENTIC MATERIALS IN A FOREIGN LANGUAGE LESSON
Abstract
In this article selection of the authentic materials in a foreign language lesson
and some Linguists' suggested criteria for selection of authentic materials for practical
lessons are studied. Particularly the role of authentic audio and video materials in the
development of communicative competence are analysed.
